The Love Of God

The love of God in Jesus

Is the greatest mystery

Why did He die on Calvary

To save a wretch like me

No greater love for everyone

Will ever come again

To save His people

From the curse of sin

The love of God that Jesus

Had displayed on Calvary

When He wrote our sins upon His heart

And nailed them to that tree

When YAHWEH gave His only Son

To die so we could live

It was the greatest gift

That He could give

God has a miracle

For all humanity

If we believe what Jesus did

For us on Calvary

We will be delivered

From the wages of our sin

And we will live forevermore

When Jesus comes again

How great a love does YAHWEH have

To put His Son through this

For those who mocked and beat Him

And betrayed Him with a kiss

How great a love does Jesus have

To pardon and forgive

Those who crucified their King

And would not let Him live

Through the love of God we're covered

By His mercy and His grace

If we've confessed our lawlessness

Our sins have been erased

Only through the blood of Christ 

Can we have liberty

And freedom from the devil

And His hate for you and me

God has a miracle

For all humanity

If we believe what Jesus

Did for us on Calvary

We will be delivered 

From the wages  of our sin

And we will live forevermore
