Living Water

LORD I thirst for living water

That only You can give

Without it I will surely die

But with it I will live

For only You can quench my thirst

And wash away my sin

Forgive me LORD

So I don't thirst again

Give me Your living water

From the fountain of Your love

And wrap me in Your righteousness

And wash me in Your blood

The well is much too deep for me

To draw it on my own

So help me LORD

Until You take me home

LORD I'm weary from my journey 

And my time is drawing nigh

And if You do not quench my thirst

I know that I will die

Pour out Your Spirit on me now

And send the latter rain

So I can drink and never thirst again

LORD I thirst for living water

In this dry and thirsty land

So fill my vessel to the brim

And help me understand

All that You would have me do

Until I see Your face

And wash me in Your mercy

And Your grace

Give me Your living water LORD

And take away my pain

And heal my body and my mind

And make me whole again

For only You are able

To refill my cup for me

Because of what You did

On Calvary
