When I See Jesus In You

You are my father you are my mother

You are my sister and you are my brother

We are a family woven together

With one common thread

His name is Jesus He's the Rock of our fathers

We are His children His sons and His daughters

By His example of love we're learning to live

And learning to give

By walking if faith and trusting in Him

To carry the weight of all of our sin

There is no burden to great

That He will not bear

When we laugh He will laugh when we cry He will cry

When we weep He'll wipe the tears from our eyes

When we need He'll provide when we seek

We will find Him there He will always be there

When we stumble and fall He will lift us back up

When we search for the truth He will fill up our cup

With His mercy and grace in His loving embrace

He will share And He'll always care

To be forgiven by God we must learn to forgive

To be finally free we must learn how to live

By standing together forever we'll truly be free

When I see Jesus in you and you see Jesus in me

We are God's people we've been bought with a price

We've been purchased by the blood of the Lamb

He came from heaven to save and redeem us from sin

And He's coming again

But if we're divided by building a wall

That's not built on the truth then surely we'll fall

For there is only one way that we're going to win

And we're going to win

By walking in faith and loving each other

By living in peace as sister and brother

There is no burden too great that we will not bear

When we laugh He will laugh when we cry He will cry
