To God be the glory

When The Wind Blows

I can sleep when the wind blows

I can sleep when the storms are raging

I am safe in the shelter of my God

I can see through the shadows

I can see through the darkness of the night

And into the light

And my soul cries out, how long, how long, O LORD

Before I see Your glory fill the sky

How long before I see, Your power and majesty

Descending with the angels from on high

I can sleep when the wind blows

I can sleep when the storms are raging

I am safe in the shelter of my God

I can see through the shadows

I can see through the darkness of the night

And into the light

And my soul cries out, how long, how long, O LORD

will the nations be consumed by war and greed

How long before they see, that Jesus holds the key

To unlock the gates of hell, and set them free

I can sleep when the wind blows

I can sleep when the storms are raging

I am safe in the shelter of my God

I can see through the shadows

I can see through the darkness of the night

And into the light, into the light, into the light

I can sleep when the wind blows
