Heaven's Tears

Heaven's tears are flowing from the cross on Calvary

Mixed with blood and water that Jesus shed for me

And I know that I'm not worthy but I know my Savior cares

I can see it in His eyes through heaven's tears

I was born a sinner and I lived my life in sin

I did not know my Savior so I could not let Him in

I was still entangled in the devil's deadly snares

Causing me to turn on heaven's tears

Rain rain come again and wash away my sin

I want to be forgiven for I have sinned again

And I thank the LORD in heaven for the answer to my prayers

There is mercy love and grace in heaven's tears

Heaven's tears are flowing from the Lamb upon that tree

Mixed with love and mercy for those like you and me

To wash away the guilt that we have carried all these years

Yeshua shed His blood through heaven's tears

Rain rain come again and wash away my sin

I want to be forgiven for I have sinned again

And I thank the LORD in heaven for the answer to my prayers

There is mercy love and grace in heaven's tears

The wages of my sin were paid by One who knew no sin

By One who gave His life for me so that I could live again

And now that I am older even after all these years

I am thankful for the cross and heaven's tears
