Arise

Arise ye that sleep in the dust

The LORD of life has come

To usher in eternal life

Through Jesus Christ His Son

Awake from your unconscious state

To meet Him in the air

Then follow Him to paradise

To dwell with Jesus there

Arise ye from your lifeless grave

Where you now rest in peace

And thank the LORD for what He's done

So we can be released

From the bondage of eternal death

That weighs on you and me

But through the blood of Jesus Christ

We can now be free

Arise arise the time has come

To hear the trumpet sound

And to greet the host of angels

As we rise up from the ground

Come forth with those who love the LORD

To worship Christ and sing

O grave where is your victory

O death where is your sting

Arise ye from your silent bed

Corruption is no more

And join the saints and angels

On that far and distant shore

Put on His robe of righteousness

And immortality

And thank the LORD for what He's done

For those like you and me

Arise and follow Jesus

To our mansions built on high

Where those who have been saved by grace

Will live and never die

Where death and pain will cease to reign

For all eternity

Because of what our Savior did

For us on Calvary

Arise arise the time has come

To hear the trumpet sound

And to greet the host of angels

As we rise up from the ground

Come forth with those who love the LORD

To worship Christ and sing

O grave where is your victory

O death where is your sting

Arise ye saints of the most High

The time for sleep is done

You've run the race and fought the fight

And the battle has been won

Well done my good and faithful friends

Now come and follow me

To the kingdom of our father

Who is waiting there for thee

Arise ye from the darkness now

And come into the light

Receive your crown of glory

And receive your crown of life

That Jesus has for those

Who have been faithful unto death

Who loved the LORD with all their heart

Until their last breath

They loved the LORD with all their heart

Until their last breath
