According To Thy Will

Father Your will for me is better

Than my will for myself

Your ways are not my ways

In that there is no doubt
And I am  learning daily LORD

To trust You and obey

Without You LORD

Where would I be today

My life had been shattered

By the winds of strife and sin

Like a ship whose sails were tattered

I was driven by the wind

Until I began to sink LORD

Into the raging sea

But above the storm

You heard my fervent plea

Let Thy will be done and Thy kingdom come

Let all things be according to Thy will

Let my tongue proclaim Your holy name

And let this heart that loves You LORD be still

I thank You LORD for who You are

And for what You've done for me

I thank You for Your willingness

To calm the angry sea

With a voice so soft and gentle

You bade the wind be still

And the wind and sea bowed down to Thee

According to Thy will

Let Thy will be done and Thy kingdom come

Let all things be according to Thy will

Let my tongue proclaim Your holy name

And let this heart that loves You LORD, be still

You're the Alpha and Omega

The beginning and the end

You're the anchor of my soul

You're my Master and my Friend

You're the Rock of my salvation

You're the Lamb of God once slain

You are Jesus Christ my Savior

And I praise Your holy name
