To God be the glory

Don't Cry For Me

Don't Cry For Me, for I am in good hands

I have put my house in order, and I will see the promised land

But until then I'll rest a while, and lay me down to sleep

Until Jesus calls my name, and I awake

Don't cry for me, for I am in good hands

They are scarred but they are gentle, like a newborn baby Lamb

They are strong enough to carry me, to where I long to be

So dry your eyes my friend, don't cry for me

Don't cry for me, for I have been forgiven

Don't cry for me, for death has lost its sting

Don't cry for me, for Jesus Christ is risen, yes He is

And someday soon, He'll do the same for me

Don't cry for me, for I am in good hands

They were pierced for my transgressions, when they crucified the Lamb

They nailed my sins to Jesus, when they hung Him on that tree

So dry your eyes my friend, don't cry for me

Don't cry for me, for I am in good hands

They are strong enough to carry you, until we meet again

May the good LORD bless and keep you safe, until His face we see

So until then my friend, don't cry for me

Don't cry for me, for I have been forgiven

Don't cry for me, for death has lost its sting

Don't cry for me, for I am bound for heaven, yes I am

And someday soon, I'll see my blessed King

Don't cry for me, for I have been forgiven

Don't cry for me, for death has lost its sting

Don't cry for me, for Jesus Christ is risen, yes He is

And someday soon, He'll do the same for me

Someday soon, He'll do the same for me

So don't cry for me
