To God be the glory

My Prayer

God of mercy, God of glory, Master of the final story

Come into my heart and make me whole

Heal my body, heal my mind, make me truly wholly Thine

Heal my spirit, heal my very soul

Holy Spirit guide and teach me, open up my heart and reach me

By Your grace I know that You are mine

God of beauty, God of grace, how I long to see Your face

How I long to see Your glory shine

Saviour with divine compassion, mould me in Your timeless fashion

Create in me a heart that's pure and true

Chasten me with tender mercies, make me into all I can be

Teach me that my life is found in You

God of Issac, God of Jacob, God of Abraham and David

Hear me when I call upon Your name

In You I put my hope and fear, save me from my dark despair

Give me strength LORD help me start again

LORD in You I put my trust, even though I know I must

Overcome this world and all my sin

Father help me overcome, through the blood of Your dear Son

By Your grace I know that I will win

Grant me now a new beginning, free from sorrow, free from sinning

God of love give answer to my prayer

Hold me in Your arms today, never let me slip away

Dispel my doubts and take away my fear

In these days of mass deception, terror reigns in all directions

As nations beat their ploughshares into swords

But Father still I have no fear, I know Thy kingdom come is near

The great and dreadful day of Thee O LORD

Save my mother, save my father, save my sons and save my daughters

Save my brothers and my sisters too

Save Your children from this strife, grant us all eternal life

Call us now LORD, draw us close to You

O God the Father, God the Son, I pray today Thy will be done

Not my will O LORD, but yours alone

In faith I ask in Jesus name these things to which I now lay claim

Until at last you come to take us home

Until at last you come to take us home

Until at last you come to take us home

To God be the glory

Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted. Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth. Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart, for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. And blessed are those who are persecuted for righteousness' sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.  ~ Matthew 5:3-10~

But I do not want you to be ignorant brethren, concerning those who have fallen asleep, lest you sorrow as others who have no hope. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus. For this we say to you by the word of the LORD, that we who are alive and remain until the coming of the LORD, will by no means precede those who are asleep. For the LORD himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God: and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the LORD in the air, and thus we shall always  be with the LORD. Therefore comfort one another with these words.  ~ 1 Thessalonians 4;13-18~
